Since starting her dance journey in her local ballet school, Kate has discovered the breadth of the dance world and the joy of continuing to learn and grow as a dance artist.

 

Kate completed a BETEC Extended Diploma in Dance at Lewisham College in London, before moving to Australia and furthering her dance studies with a degree in Dance from the Academy of Music and Performing Arts (AMPA). Kate majored in contemporary and has also trained in ballet, jazz, pole dance and contact improvisation.

 

Kate is currently a member of contemporary company ‘Bonnie Curtis Projects’, cabaret troupe ‘Les Femmes Diamant’ and is the Artistic Director of ‘Silhouette 9 Productions’. She is an experienced performer and has shared her deep love of choreography by creating her own works as well as collaborating with other artists in music videos.

 

Kate loves sharing her passion for dance at SVDS and likes to pack her classes with a mix of technical exercises as well as fun routines to build strength, confidence, and most of all to enjoy dancing!
