Benedict

Ballet, Flagging & Flamenco Instructor

Benedict is a classically trained Dancer, and a well known Flagger & Flagg Artisan from Australia.
Benedict trained at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (W.A.A.P.A).
Studying primarily Classical Ballet, Contemporary Dance and Flamenco Dance.
He's performed throughout Australia and Europe during his dance career,
and is a respected leader & teacher within the Flagging Community.

Benedict began learning the art of Flagging in 1997. Using his dance and choreographic skills he has taught & produced flagging events in Sydney ever since.
From Mardi Gras Parades, to the opening ceremony of the Sydney Gay Gaymes, Corporate events and community shows. He has occasionally run flagg dyeing and making workshops.
When Covid was most prevalent, during the lockdowns he joined a weekly zoom with the worldwide flagging community, where he went on to teach regularly and became recognised as a leader and teacher within the worldwide flagging community.
